I was overall very pleased with the results of this years awards ceremony. I was thrilled to see Kate Winslet walk away with two prizes! She has been over looked so many times in the past and she probably is one of the most talented actress out there. It was an honor to witness Heath Ledger win for Best Supporting Actor, for his portrayal as the villainous Joker in Batman the Dark Knight. Although Heath passed away in 2008 his performance will live on…AND WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 
The best picture award went to Slumdog Millionaire, however, I would have liked to see Revolutionary Road take home the Globe. Slumdog also was awarded Best Director and Best Screenplay.
30 Rock walked away with 3 Globes and rightfully so, the show is hilarious!
Mad Men, another favorite, walked away with the Best TV series-Drama.
Mickey Rourke won Best Actor for Darren Aronofskys The Wrestler. I hope this Globe win will lead to the Academy Award!

Awards season officially has begun! Here are my picks for the winners of this years Globes (doesnt mean they’ll when just means they should!). Check back in for the results.
Best Picture Drama- Revolutionary Road (but i think Slumdog will win)
Best Actress Drama- Meryl Streep or Kate Winslet (either Meryl or Anne H. will win)
Best Actor Drama- Mickey Rourke (Penn might win but shouldn’t)
Best Director- Sam Mendes (danny boyle may win)
Best Picture Comedy/Musical-Burn After Reading (stupid catagory)
Best Actress Comedy/Musical- Sally Hawkins (stupid catagory)
Best Actor Comedy/Musical- HAVE NOT SEEN FILMS IN CATAGORY
